Looks like Reddit got rid of gallery view(er) in old reddit. Can RES get it back?
Main Post:
What's up? ???In old reddit, if you click on a post with multiple pictures (reddit.com/gallery/) it no longer sends you to the gallery view(er) but to the post (reddit.com/r/subreddit/comments/). Does RES have the ability/function to stop the redirect?
Where does it happen? ???Posts that use reddit gallery on old reddit.
Screenshots or mock-ups ???
What browser extensions are installed? ???RES, uBO, DownThemAll, Simple Modify Headers, Enhancer for YouTube, Violentmonkey, Stylus, Search by Image

Found workaround for iOS media gallery view [iOS]
Main Post:
Media gallery view for iOS workaround found. I found a workaround to get media gallery view in subreddits. At the top of the subreddit, press the search (magnifying glass), don’t actually search for anything (don’t type anything), and just press the search button. On the top right it will have the media option, and then on the top left you can sort the media however you want.
Hopefully this makes sense, reply to this if you need help/clarification
Top Comment: Bravo!
RIF/Reddit is Fun loading Reddit Gallery Issue
Main Post:
Hello, I'm using the patched RIF/Reddit is Fun application, and this morning I can no longer access posts that links to Reddit galleries. If I click on the post, it just brings me to the comment.
Has anyone found a workaround or is there a fix on this?
Major edit: u/nekoramza have graciously provided a step-by-step process within the comments, and and u/specter376 has provided a link to the APK.
The comments is also filled with different types of solutions! Thank you so much! :) 💖
Top Comment: Mine still never fixed the issue of certain images all linking to an old post titled "nice hat".
[desktop web] [old] Gallery links no longer work on old reddit with compressed view.
Main Post:
When click on on a reddit gallery link from Old Reddit when using compressed link display, you're now taken directly to the comments page; prior to today, clicking on a gallery link would take you to a new-Reddit-ish page where you could view the images without the captions.
Using Old Reddit without the compressed link display does show the thumbnails of the gallery on the comments page, but there's no way to see the images in compressed link view.
Top Comment: Same with poll links. And the "other discussions" tab on the old site under the www.reddit.com domain. The latter has been broken since earlier this year. I had a support ticket all typed up, but apparently you can't directly report bugs anymore. I'll just share what I typed up: Subject: Gallery and poll pages redirect to the post itself when using old site. Starting December 16th, all www.reddit.com/gallery and www.reddit.com/poll pages redirect to the corresponding post itself. These pages are essential legacy features for old site users. For instance it is impossible to view poll results using the old site under the www.reddit.com domain since poll results don't embed on the old site. You will just be redirected to the post itself when clicking on the poll link to view the results. And gallery pages are still essential for subreddits that have disabled media previews under the old site. In this case, users will be unable to view images for posts with multiple images unless they are savvy enough to have enabled "auto-expand media previews" under their user preferences. Also, since early this year, the "other discussions" tab on the old site, a useful feature which shows other subreddits that shared the same link or image, has been redirecting to the post itself under the www.reddit.com domain. See https://www.reddit.com/r/news/duplicates/1hfk99b/many_new_jersey_drones_sightings_are_manned/ with "Use new Reddit as my default experience" unchecked under your user preferences for an example of this behavior. You can't view any of the other subs that also shared the article unless you use the old or np domains.
